  • Reinforce the link between the Youth Challenge and Education Queensland curriculum

  • Provide advice for conducting the Youth Challenge in your school/classroom/organisation

  • Support teachers and facilitators in developing learning activities for conducting the Youth Challenge within the classroom/youth setting

Curriculum connections

Classroom teachers will be able to incorporate the Crime Stoppers Youth Challenge Queensland into their curriculum plans. Assessment tasks and teacher materials have been developed linking the Crime Stoppers Youth Challenge Queensland program to the QSA Senior Secondary Syllabuses and the QCAR Framework Essential Learnings and Standards.

The Teachers Guide has been developed in conjunction with the Department of Education and Training. It further demonstrates the alignment of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment to enable teachers to report on student achievement. The Teachers Guide is available to download via the link above. Alternatively hard copies are also available upon request.
